Delhi Public School, Sector 84, Gurugram, celebrated their Annual sports Event, ‘Collympic’, on 22nd December, 2018. The occasion was graced by Mr. Aditya Paul Lakhanpal, Co-Vice Chairman of the school and Ms Menaka Paul Lakhanpal, member managing committee.
The event commenced with lighting of the torch, followed by oath taking ceremony and declaration of the meet open by the chief guest. This was also an occasion to release our school magazine, ‘Arunodaya’, with principal reading out the annual report. The sports fiesta had a plethora of events which included fun races for Nursery, K.G and Grades one and two. Senior students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way and participated in March Past, PT Drill, 100mtr, 200mtr and Relay races. The four houses, Abdul Kalam, Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Sarojini Naidu, eyed for the first place with Mother Teresa house bagging ‘The Overall Championship Trophy’.
The school campus reverberated with enthusiastic cheers from the spectators. Fun time with Parent races added to the enjoyment.
