Math is fun

Math is fun

“Mathematics is not about numbers, equations computations or algorithms it’s about understanding”

We at DPS84 believe that the only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics.

Math is fun, it teaches you life information. It is the only place where truth and beauty mean the same thing.

Students of Grade IV examined the relationship of interdependence that mathematics has with our day-to-day life.

Creative Monologue

Creative Monologue

A monologue activity was conducted in grades 7 and 8 where the students chose a character from any book which they have already read. They then prepared a monologue based on the character’s perspective. They created a script which could be either comedic or dramatic and structured the monologue. They created a character profile and dressed up in a similar way as well as created an appropriate virtual background. Finally they memorised and presented their monologues while their peers gave feedback on the performance and how well the character’s emotional perspective was understood and interpreted.
