International Dance Day

International Dance Day

Students celebrated International Dance Day with presentations of various state dance forms. There were impromptu presentations during online sessions as well. Our dance teacher led the students in preparing dance moves that all the students could learn, follow and enjoy during the online sessions. Students also enjoyed a free dance session, which allowed them to expend their energy, and they enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

Earth day celebration

Earth day celebration

Earth Day 2021 marked the 51st anniversary of this day. Typically, Earth Day is assigned a different theme or area of focus each year; this year’s theme was “Restore Our Earth.”

Most years, Earth Day events range from river cleanups to removals of invasive plants. With social distancing still in place for many of us this April, Earth Day has gone digital. Virtual events, such as environmental lectures and films, will take place on Earth Day. Of course, social distancing doesn’t mean that you can’t go outside and enjoy nature, as long as you do so responsibly! Nature is not canceled!

Students on Earth Day planted saplings and continue to nurture them contributing to the conservation of the environment.
