Grade V : Known to be the most inquisitive class as they are always willing to learn more and showcase their work. The class is also known for its efficient coding skills as most of the students have taken up interesting coding projects from Code.Org, Minecraft Education Edition or Scratch. A monologue activity was conducted in grades 7 and 8 where the students chose a character from any book which they have already read. They then prepared a monologue based on the character’s perspective. They created a script which could be either comedic or dramatic and structured the monologue. They created a character profile and dressed up in a similar way as well as created an appropriate virtual background. Finally they memorised and presented their monologues while their peers gave feedback on the performance and how well the character’s emotional perspective was understood and interpreted.
